Terms and Conditions

 

Booking & Cancellation Policy 
At SS SKIN LAB LTD, all practitioners are professionally trained and approved in accordance with our treatment protocols. Whilst we endeavour to provide continuity of care, we do not guarantee treatment with a specific practitioner. 

Cancellations & Missed Appointments 

  • If you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment, we require a minimum of 48 hours' notice. 

  • Failure to provide sufficient notice may result in a £50 cancellation fee per appointment. This fee may be deducted from any existing treatment package and is non-refundable. 

  • Appointments missed without notice will be treated as a "no-show" and may incur a £50 charge. Future appointments may require full payment in advance. 

  • Clients who have purchased a course of treatments and fail to attend a scheduled session will forfeit that treatment session. 

Arrival & Late Attendance 

  • Please arrive at least 10 minutes before your appointment to complete any necessary paperwork. 

  • Late arrival may result in: 

  • Reduced treatment time 

  • Cancellation of your appointment 

  • A £50 no-show fee 

  • To avoid disruption to other clients, treatments may need to be shortened or rescheduled if you arrive late. 

Clinic Cancellations 

  • Whilst we strive to honour all appointments as scheduled, SS SKIN LAB LTD reserves the right to cancel or reschedule appointments where necessary. 

  • In such circumstances, any deposit or payment already made will be transferred to a mutually agreed alternative appointment date. We will make every effort to provide as much notice as possible. 

Important Booking Information 

  • Before booking an appointment, please ensure that: 

  • You are aged 18 years or over. 

  • You disclose any medical conditions, allergies, or medications prior to booking. 

  • You attend your appointment with clean, makeup-free skin where applicable. 

  • You follow all pre-treatment instructions provided by the clinic. 

  • Facial & Laser Treatments 

  • There must be a minimum of 3 weeks before or after sun exposure, holidays, or tanning before treatment can be performed. 

  • Treatment cannot be carried out if you are pregnant or breastfeeding unless otherwise advised by a qualified medical professional and deemed appropriate. 

Prescription-Only Treatments 

  • Certain treatments, including Botulinum Toxin (Botox®), PDO Threads, Endosculpt, Vitamin Therapy and Hyaluronidase, require a prescription and medical assessment prior to treatment. 

  • All clients must attend a consultation with our prescribing nurse at least 72 hours before their scheduled treatment appointment. 

  • Failure to comply with prescription requirements may result in cancellation of the appointment and loss of the deposit. 

Pre-Treatment Requirements 

  • You will be advised of any specific pre-treatment instructions relevant to your chosen treatment. 

  • Failure to follow pre-treatment advice may result in: 

  • Cancellation of treatment 

  • Reduced treatment effectiveness 

  • Additional charges 

  • Loss of deposit 

Booking Deposits & Payments 

  • A £50 deposit is required to secure most appointments. 

  • Where the treatment cost is less than £50, full payment will be required at the time of booking. 

  • Deposits are non-refundable and non-transferable. 

  • Deposits do not apply to appointments booked from an existing treatment package unless otherwise stated. 

Treatment & Course Payments 

  • All treatment balances must be paid in full on the day of treatment. 

  • Treatment courses must be paid in full before the first session unless otherwise agreed in writing. 

  • Courses, treatments, deposits and promotional purchases are non-refundable and non-transferable. 

  • Deposits will be deducted from the outstanding treatment balance on the day of your appointment. 

Treatment Courses 

  • All treatment packages and courses: 

  • Must be paid in full before commencement. 

  • Must be completed within 12 months of purchase. 

  • Any unused treatments remaining after 12 months will automatically expire and be forfeited. 

Refund Policy 

  • Due to the nature of aesthetic treatments and services, all treatments, courses, deposits and payments are non-refundable. 

  • No refunds will be provided once treatment has commenced or been completed. 

  • Results vary between individuals and cannot be guaranteed. 

  • Retail products may only be returned if faulty and must be reported within 14 days of purchase. 

Consent & Treatment Outcomes 

  • By proceeding with treatment, you acknowledge that all aesthetic procedures carry potential risks, side effects, complications and varying outcomes. 

  • A full consultation will be carried out prior to treatment, and informed consent must be provided before any procedure is performed. 

  • Whilst we endeavour to achieve the best possible results, outcomes vary from person to person and no guarantee can be given regarding treatment effectiveness or longevity. 

  • Additional treatments may be required to achieve desired results and may incur additional charges. 

Results & Aftercare 

  • SS SKIN LAB LTD cannot be held responsible for poor treatment outcomes where: 

  • Aftercare advice has not been followed. 

  • Recommended treatment plans have not been completed. 

  • Relevant medical information has not been disclosed. 

  • Clients fail to attend review appointments where advised. 

Clinical Photography 

  • Clinical photographs may be taken before and after treatment for medical records, treatment planning and monitoring purposes. 

  • Photographs remain confidential and securely stored. 

  • Images will only be used for marketing, educational or promotional purposes where separate written consent has been obtained. 

Medical Disclosure Policy 

  • SS SKIN LAB LTD reserves the right to refuse treatment where medical conditions, medications, allergies or other relevant information have not been disclosed. 

  • Failure to disclose significant medical information may result in treatment refusal and forfeiture of any treatment fees or deposits paid. 

  • Clients are responsible for informing the clinic of any changes to their health, medications or allergies at least 48 hours before treatment. 

Right to Refuse Treatment 

  • SS SKIN LAB LTD reserves the right to refuse treatment at its sole discretion. 

  • Reasons may include, but are not limited to: 

  • Medical contraindications 

  • Failure to follow pre-treatment advice 

  • Intoxication through alcohol or drugs 

  • Aggressive, abusive or inappropriate behaviour 

  • Unrealistic treatment expectations 

  • Concerns regarding client welfare or safety 

  • In such circumstances, deposits may be retained. 

Patch Testing 

  • Where patch testing is required, treatment cannot proceed without a satisfactory patch test result. 

  • Failure to attend a patch test appointment or comply with patch testing requirements may result in treatment cancellation and loss of deposit. 

Children & Guests Policy 

  • For health, safety and insurance reasons, children and accompanying guests are not permitted in treatment rooms unless agreed in advance by management. 

  • Clients attending with children may be asked to reschedule their appointment. 

Complaints Procedure 

  • Any concerns regarding treatment should be raised with the clinic as soon as possible and no later than 14 days after treatment. 

  • We are committed to resolving complaints fairly and professionally and encourage clients to contact us directly before posting public reviews or complaints. 

Discounts & Promotional Offers 

  • All discounts and promotional offers are applied to the Recommended Retail Price (RRP). 

  • Offers cannot be used in conjunction with any other promotion unless explicitly stated. 

  • Promotional offers cannot be exchanged for cash, transferred to another individual, or applied retrospectively. 

  • Management reserves the right to withdraw or amend promotions at any time. 

Gift Vouchers 

  • Gift vouchers are non-refundable and cannot be exchanged for cash. 

  • Gift vouchers must be redeemed before their expiry date and may not be used after expiry. 

  • Lost, stolen or damaged vouchers cannot be replaced. 

Data Protection 

  • All personal information is collected, processed and stored in accordance with applicable UK Data Protection legislation and UK GDPR requirements. 

  • Client information is treated confidentially and will only be shared where legally required or with your consent. 

Management Discretion 

  • All decisions made by SS SKIN LAB LTD management regarding bookings, refunds, promotions, treatment suitability and disputes are final.
